Winner of Mission: USVI Vacation arrives in St. Thomas on July 28

ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands, July 29, 2007 – The Department of Tourism is rolling out the red carpet for Kimberly Jones, grand prize winner of the Mission: USVI Vacation sweepstakes. Chosen at random from the over 10,000 sweepstakes entrants, Jones, who is a Realty Specialist with the Army Corps of Engineers, will visit St. Thomas from July 28 through August 2 where she and a guest will enjoy accommodations at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa, along with a rental from Avis Rent-A-Car and admission to a variety of exciting tours and attractions, including the St. Thomas Skyride to Paradise Point, a kayak tour from VI Ecotours and admission to Coral World Ocean Park.

In addition to the sweepstakes, the DOT partnered with from February through May to promote the Department’s Mission: USVI Vacation package.
